Food Community & Recipe Application

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Zolu mobile application (the "App"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the App.
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
This application is completely free and does not offer any in-app purchases or subscriptions. All features are available without payment.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
To access certain features, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
Zolu is built around a community of food enthusiasts. You agree to interact respectfully with other community members, provide constructive feedback on recipes, and maintain a positive culinary environment.
The App allows users to create, post, store, and share content, including original recipes, cooking tutorials, food photography, ingredient reviews, kitchen tips, and culinary experiences ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content for operating and improving the App.
When sharing recipes, you agree to attribute original sources when applicable and only share recipes that you have the right to distribute. Do not plagiarize recipes from other sources without proper attribution.
You agree not to post, upload, or share User Content that:
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms and to suspend or terminate accounts of repeat violators.
Users are solely responsible for following safe food handling practices, verifying cooking temperatures, checking ingredient freshness, and accommodating dietary restrictions. Zolu does not guarantee the safety or accuracy of recipes shared by users. Those with food allergies, dietary restrictions, or specific health conditions should consult with healthcare professionals.
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Zolu and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Recipes shared by users remain their intellectual property, but by sharing them on Zolu, you grant other users the right to use those recipes for personal, non-commercial purposes.
We reserve the right to moderate content, remove inappropriate material, and restrict users who violate community guidelines. Users can report inappropriate content through the App's reporting features.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RECIPES ARE SAFE, ACCURATE, OR SUITABLE FOR ALL USERS. COOKING DECISIONS SHOULD BE MADE WITH CAUTION AND PROFESSIONAL GUIDANCE WHEN NECESSARY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR ANY COOKING DECISIONS MADE BASED ON APP CONTENT, INCLUDING FOOD-RELATED ILLNESSES, INJURIES, OR ALLERGIC REACTIONS.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Modified" date.
